Sci-fi madness πŸŒπŸš€πŸŒŒ

Helloooo, Today was Father's Day! I gave my dad his gifts this morning, he seemed to enjoy them 😁 After my homework we went off and did some bouldering so we could make some memories! It was super fun! I pushed myself so hard but I kind of got a bit scared because I didn't have a harness and I'm sort of scared of falling 🀣 But now I kind of have sore arms and my hands are covered in blisters and ripped skin! 🀣 They will heal though, before Wednesday where I do it all again only this time with rock climbing 😁 It's fun! I finished my netball season - it was really sad because the team we were going to verse never showed up! So, we just made two teams out of supporters and coaches and played a fun game! I got player of the day!  Anyways, enough about my boring life. Here is today's kind of confusing topic: - actually I might just have to explain it. So, there is this theory (Don't know what it's called) That basically says that, for example if I went and l...

Just be yourself!πŸ™πŸ™

Hellllooo, Welcome to today's blog! This afternoon we have a little social so…. That’ll be fun 😁😁 Anyways, today's topic is based on a comment on an Instagram video I saw today.  It said: ‘And I painted myself with colours, the colours I despised, just so I could blend into the colours, the colours they preferred” One thing I have to say about that is that you don’t need to be anything but your vibrant self. You are YOU!! You don’t need to blend in when you are born to stand out. (Another quote 🀣) So, in the end that’s all I have to say (sorry) I have to go! Talk next on SundayπŸ˜„ Byyeee πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹

Places I want to go to ✈️✈️🌍

Hellooo πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹ I must apologize again for the blog yesterday; it wasn’t that good of me.  Anyways, welcome to today's blog! I will start with an update then continue on with my original plan for yesterday, where I was going to list out the places I want to go to in the future. But before I start with that, todays updates! I ended up doing my math test, I don’t know what I got 😬 I went back to school (obviously, how would I do the test if I was not at school).  So onto todays topic, finally! when I was younger, I always wanted to go travelling and see the world. As well as my childhood dreams of being a princess etc. But as I’ve gotten older, I have narrowed it down to just a few places. (Not in any order) 1. Luxembourg  Luxembourg is a place not many people have heard about! I discovered it when is heard it in TV one day and was like: what’s that?! What I found was pretty cottages, castles and lakes surrounded by mountains. The google photos took my breath away so ...

Sorry, not much of a blog today

Helloooo πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹ Welcome to today's blog! My  phones just turned orange because it’s nighttime. Another day is done. It’s four months till New Year's, till 2025! Wow. Hi, this is a special message from one of Izzy's amazing friends to have a great day and to enjoy the little things in life, because you are great :) A nyways that was my friend! I’m sorry but I’m really tired and still a bit sick, so this blog is kind of has no meaning, sorry to disappoint! I just ran out of time. Sorry, Izzy

Advice on poetry and a bit of my disastrous life, today πŸ™„

Hellooo! So, last night it was a bit chaotic, at midnight a whole bunch of us walked outside like half asleep zombies and assembled in straight lines because a fire alarm went off! At the end of it, it was revealed that it was a faulty alarm! So as annoying as that was, my night went on as normal. Except that it was freezing outside, and it didn't help with my cold. Like a solider, the next morning I pushed onto school with a nose as blocked as can be. I didn't last through the entire first period. I ended up heading to the nurse with a feeling of throwing up. So, I went home, watched a few movies, read my book and here I am! 😊 I apologize if this blog isn't that good, I'm extremely tired. Sorry! Now to address a request from my poem 'the aftermath of prom' that I posted yesterday. Someone has requested that I say a bit on some tips and tricks to my experience of poetry writing! So here are my words of wisdom from my experience: Poetry writing cannot be rushed...

A bit of updates and a special, rare one of my poems for you😁

Hellooo, During this weekend where I haven't posted was mainly homework for my upcoming math's test tomorrow, which in all honestly, I'm a little scared for. Also, unfortunately, I got a cold so I couldn't perform in the choir because I would have sounded like a dying goat 🀣🀣  So, onto today's actual topic, on Saturday I played netball. I had the biggest urge in training to start writing a poem, but I never did because the game was shortly after that, and I completely forgot. I wanted to write a poem because the setting was so beautiful! It had started to light sprinkle with rain, and it was magical, to me anyway.   So, I decided to share ONE of my poems today! This is rare for me to put one of my poems on here. So anyways, here it is: Aftermath By I J Powell Mascara stained eyes On unexpecteding victims  tans in the middle of winter  For those in dresses to impress Makeup thick  Hopes high for this afternoon Who knew what the next day would bring I...

A bit about self-confidence in your looks 😊

Helloooo, Welcome to today's blog. In my opinion I like natural. Not that brand of soap that you probably have that starts with 'natural - something' or the outside world. But natural LOOKS. No makeup or products that you are unsure about. No hundreds of items in your makeup routine. Here's my reasons why and how you might stick to this to. First of all, there is no such thing as ugly. Google in fact defines it as 'unpleasant or repulsive especially in appearance.' Well for once, Google is wrong. Did you know Guinness World Records has a record for the ugliest person? Yes, they do. Search it up or scroll down to the bottom of the blog for the photo. 'Ugliest woman in the world.' Have a look at her. Past the label but HER. To me she seems very kind, caring and nice. Now transfer to the looks of her. Here's what I see: for one that hair is gorgeous. Her teeth are perfectly straight, and she has the sweetest smile. Her eyes are so pretty it complements...

100 years of movies Pt. 2 🎬🎬

Helllooo, Today was a sad day. First of all, I finished my book 10/10, it was very good and a bit sad too. Next, I will read Folk of the Air Series: The Cruel Prince. t6u5du6tk7xctrxdukgctjuvt. -that was Apple messing up my blog 🀣 (not her actual name for privacy reasons). Well, Apple is an exchange student who was very close to our friend group who left this afternoon to go back to China.  It was very sad, but I will still text her as I have her Chinese number 😊 We ran down the road to say 'bye' as she travelled in the car. It was a sad moment. What else happened? Well, I went to a little performance for our school orchestra that my friend Nora was a part of. It was very good; they played a Phantom of the Opera mash up. 10/10 show.  Anyways, on with the part 2.... I think we were up to 1970's. (By the way the 1950's are the best decade in all time. Just saying. Comment your Favorite decade!). 1970's it nothing other than Jaws. The shark horror film with suspense,...

100 years of movies pt. 1 😊πŸŽ₯

Heellooo, Welcome to today's Blog! I don't know why it needed a big entrance. It just was like that.  So, let's talk about time and decades in movies. Do you know those videos about like, a hundred years of makeup, fashion or hair, that kind of thing? Well, that's kind of similar to what I'm going to write about.  First up, 1920's, the movie I have chosen that's set this decade is The Great Gatsby. Starring Leonardo De Caprio and it is a really good movie! It is about a millionaire who sets out in pursuit of his love, Daisy Buchanan who he loved when he was young. It's a sweet movie and it's a classic. It's also a book which I haven't gotten around to reading yet but it's on my list.  1930's, the movie is Bonny and Clyde. It is based on real life couple, surprisingly called Bonny and Clyde. It is about the couple who committed a lot of crimes, starting from small theft activity to bank robberies and stealing cars. But they don't ...

Dumb things in movies 🎬😭

Hellooo, So, I'm reading a very good book at the moment, The Grimmelings by Rachel King. It was moving along at that nice little pace it does, introducing characters and thickening the plot and then... It all got a bit strange and I'm left sitting here like, 'get some common sense, work it out!'. Sometimes you're just a bit too smart for characters. 🀣 I remember in year 5 (I think), I sat down and watched the senior speech finals. The whole time I remember tuning in and out depending on whether they interested me. One guy went up who was in year 7 or 8 and I will always remember his speech. I will always remember it because it was so funny! It was about 'dumb things people do in movies.' I was like the whole entire time: That's so true! He gave examples about how all the movie characters always pause when danger is near them, like monsters or a tornado, JUST RUN!! Or when it's some paranormal movie and there's some creak or something from aroun...

Daily dose of Motivation and a bit about M3gan 🀘🀘😊

Helloo! Sorry I haven't written for a couple of days; I am a weekly boarder so I kind of spend a lot of time with my family when I can. I will write Sunday to Thursday southern hemisphere time, sorry.   On Friday our exchange students went back to their homeland. Each student went up and said a little thing about their time on the exchange. They all went up in turn and said like 'thank you to our buddies and our homestay families' but one went up and said something that shook me. They said, 'I found it cool that there was not pollution in the air'. To me that was really eye opening. Like, what on earth are we doing to the environment. But I'm no climate activist so.... something to think about. On another note, I have been requested to write about the hidden meaning of the film M3gan about the robot. So, I asked Aunty Google and what she said was actually really eye opening but makes sense. It said that there was no replacement for human connection especially b...

A short blog edition: Meaning of a Movie πŸŽ₯πŸŽ₯πŸŽ₯πŸŽ₯🎬

Hellloooo!! So, since yesterday I talked about books, I'm going to talk a bit about movies today! Movies, first of all let me just say, everyone loves a good movie. As we grew up, we all watched similar movies, like at least every girl watched at least one barbie movie. Most of us have watched Harry Potter and I am sure we have all watched a Disney movie. But what are the messages behind one of our favorite movies?  Beauty and the Beast, I am sure everyone is familiar with the story. The true message is 'don't judge a book by its cover'. When I think about it, it makes a lot of sense! Like, everyone expects the Beast, this massive monster to be fierce and dangerous and mean. But it is revealed that he was put under a spell and Belle still showed compassion. I reckon compassion is another theme.  So, Beauty and the Beast is about not seeing things as they seem.  In real life that is also reflected, like I have met so many people that are not as they seem. So, NO assu...

It's the fav book countdown πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜Ž

Hellloo! Today I'm going to give you a little less of an inspirational boost but since it's book week this week (I think) I am going to give you a run down on some of my favorite books. First of all, I think I should mention Anne of Green Gables, as it is, to this day my favorite book. I think I liked this book so much because I could connect with the character, and I could really imagine every single description. As I mentioned I connected with this character because at the time of this book I was quite like Anne (Not adopted) but like very much in a new environment with moving schools and I had such a big imagination. I would fill my weekends with my barbies in my room, making up stories etc. I even had an imaginary friend which was a rabbit who lived on the other side of the mirror. (I forgot his name). But as I was saying, very much like Anne.  For my favorite series, it has to be Keeper of the Lost Cites. Let me tell you, I have read a lot of series, but this is top spot...

The unfortunate event of my book and what to take from itπŸ“šπŸ“š

Helloo!!! So, I have one of those annoying water bottles that have those caps that you really have to put all your weight into to lock. Well, being my clumsy self, I didn't properly close it. Placing it into my bag, I walk away and put it onto the ground later on. Now, that would have been fine, except! That water bottle leaked all through my bag and onto the floor. In a desperate attempt to salvage my stuff I dart my hand in and out checking that it didn't ruin my schoolbooks and stuff. Schedule was all good, schoolbooks were good but my book I was reading, NO. It was dripping. In a desperate attempt to save it I spread out the pages and unstuck each one. Currently, it is drying out and the pages are crinkling but at least the words are ok!  With that in mind I remembered my most valuable life lesson which I am going to share with you.  Things happen for a reason.  Whether you believe in God or any other type of person you worship or even if you are an atheist. Thi...

Barbies, books and basically my madnessπŸ“šπŸ“š

Hello!! I am currently sitting in my room, hearing music echoing from down the hall. It's that dramatic barbie, ballet song that somehow everyone knows.  Was it in swan lake? I don't know. Anyways, it made me think. Time flies, doesn't it?  I feel that when I was younger, the time went slowly. It felt like it was a lifetime before the school term had ended. But when I was like 10 it kind of switched up the mode. Like, all of a sudden, it's halfway through the year. Weren't New Year's like a couple of weeks ago?  It's crazy.  In French today, we watched the closing ceremony highlights for the Olympics. My friend, let's call her Amanda, turned to me and said, 'Next Olympics, we will be 18' Like WHAT?!! It's crazy. Sorry, that was a very big burst of... thoughts.  I feel like I need to do a book review. Let's doooooo, The Prison Healer Series by Lynette Noni. I have recently finished this series and honestly it is SO good. 10/10. I enjoyed ...

When life gives you lemons πŸ‹/ Spontaneous.

Hello! I'm back! This blog is very, very let's say, full on.  To start off I'm going to give you some context. Basically, I was sitting looking around wondering, what am I going to do now? I had already spent a lot of my time reading today.  (I was reading A Good Girl's Guide to Murder's sequel Good Girl, Bad Blood. 10/10 but nearly finished 😭). Anyways, I saw a bowl of lemons on the table and thought: When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.  So, I spontaneously got up and asked Mum if we could make lemonade. So, we did. (hopefully it's good, it's currently in the fridge to set or cool or something).  So, first of all, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Google defines that term as meaning it encourages a can-do attitude and making the most of a bad situation. All I can think of for an example is, so, imagine like a little kid. He/she scribbles on a piece of paper and starts crying because he/she is afraid that he/she ruined it. But then, he/she ...

Greetings peoples😊

Hello! This is officially the very first post for my blog. Honestly, this is very exciting. First of all, here is a little bit about me: I like writing stories, reading books, watching movies, music (especially like songs you here on the backing of Instagram or TikTok πŸ˜‹) and I like Doctor Who (Anyone else 😭😭).  I am 14, and yeah that's pretty much it! What to expect: Honestly like day-to-day thoughts, poetry, sometimes boys, self-confidence, book reviews, life experiences and positivity quotes.  So,  Until tomorrow where I am probably going to spill a bunch of random information on you (sorry in advance). Byeee πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹ Izzy.
