Advice on poetry and a bit of my disastrous life, today 🙄

 Hellooo!

So, last night it was a bit chaotic, at midnight a whole bunch of us walked outside like half asleep zombies and assembled in straight lines because a fire alarm went off! At the end of it, it was revealed that it was a faulty alarm! So as annoying as that was, my night went on as normal. Except that it was freezing outside, and it didn't help with my cold. Like a solider, the next morning I pushed onto school with a nose as blocked as can be. I didn't last through the entire first period. I ended up heading to the nurse with a feeling of throwing up. So, I went home, watched a few movies, read my book and here I am! 😊 I apologize if this blog isn't that good, I'm extremely tired. Sorry!

Now to address a request from my poem 'the aftermath of prom' that I posted yesterday. Someone has requested that I say a bit on some tips and tricks to my experience of poetry writing! So here are my words of wisdom from my experience:

Poetry writing cannot be rushed. I don't write poems 24/7 just because it needs to be done. It's based on my feelings and thoughts that I want to write down. It's a bit difficult, for me anyway, to sometimes say out loud what I want to say because it would seem creepy and weird. No amount of description in story writing or blog writing can do it either. It's different, in a way. It's hard to explain but it flows. Poetry doesn't need to rhyme or make sense initially. It's about getting your thoughts down. For me anyway. Then you can edit it.

In all, I'm not very good at giving this sort of advice. But maybe read some poetry on Pinterest or from a book. Get a feel for how it's kind of worded and plotted. Then give it a go but wait for the right moment, it will come!

Thats all for today,

Byyyeee 👋👋👋👋

  1. omg i hate it when that happens! once i was alseep peacefully in my cozy bed, and a fire alarm went off! it was crazy. i searched frantically for my childhood toy and when i found it I ran out so quickly. it was a real fire and one of the buildings was burnt to a crisp! everyone was okay though, just not their stuff... it was okay though

    1. Oh my gosh, that must have been very scary! Are you okay? Also, I can sympathize with grabbing the childhood toy - I do to 🤣🤣

  2. Last year, our school had an unexpected fire drill in the middle of the night, and it turned out to be quite an ordeal. The cold night air was biting, and it felt like every gust of wind was cutting straight through to your bones.

Standing outside in the chilly weather while trying to stay awake and alert was a test of patience. The inconvenience of it all—shivering, waiting, and feeling the frustration of being woken up at such an ungodly hour—made the whole experience feel more like an endurance test than a safety drill.

Despite the annoyance and discomfort, it was a stark reminder of the importance of being prepared for emergencies. Even though it was a trying experience, it highlighted how crucial it is to stay calm and be ready to act in any situation, no matter how inconvenient or uncomfortable it might be.

    I hope you were okay!

Barbies, books and basically my madness📚📚

Hello!! I am currently sitting in my room, hearing music echoing from down the hall. It's that dramatic barbie, ballet song that somehow everyone knows.  Was it in swan lake? I don't know. Anyways, it made me think. Time flies, doesn't it?  I feel that when I was younger, the time went slowly. It felt like it was a lifetime before the school term had ended. But when I was like 10 it kind of switched up the mode. Like, all of a sudden, it's halfway through the year. Weren't New Year's like a couple of weeks ago?  It's crazy.  In French today, we watched the closing ceremony highlights for the Olympics. My friend, let's call her Amanda, turned to me and said, 'Next Olympics, we will be 18' Like WHAT?!! It's crazy. Sorry, that was a very big burst of... thoughts.  I feel like I need to do a book review. Let's doooooo, The Prison Healer Series by Lynette Noni. I have recently finished this series and honestly it is SO good. 10/10. I enjoyed ...

pt.1 (sorry it's been a minute)

Hello, Hello again, I should say, as it's been quite a long time! I could say it was because of exams, or I was too busy but in actuality it was me. My own fault for putting other things ahead of my blog posts. I know it isn't very good! I'm sorry! So, in this blog, I am basically going to give you everything my blogs offer so it's going to be long and a bit rushed (Sorry!!). In my life in the many weeks I have not posted, life has been good! Summer is beginning to roll in and that excites me... Walks on the beach and swimming, blue skies and laughing. Ice blocks, soda cans opening and of course Christmas. But first of all, in the past couple of weeks all I have heard is Christmas music, Christmas trees in shops, Christmas ads and shopping bags with little trees on them. I don't want to be a bore and a little bit of a negative nelly, but Christmas for me starts in December. It's when we put the tree up, schools wrapping up and it just doesn't feel like quit...

Injuries even though I’m not a risk taker 🦴🦴

Hellooo, Sorry for the bad blogs over the last few days I was very busy, and a lot was going on. Speaking of a lot going on, today my Mum and I had the enjoyment of sitting in the waiting room of A&E for 4 hours. All because of my clumsy self-spraining my lower back by sneezing. Yes, sneezing which only I can probably achieve. 🤣🤣 Anyways, since it’s September I also went out birthday shopping for people since September is such a busy month for people to be born. Anyways on the topic of clumsiness and unfortunate things I am going to say a little bit about my disastrous life and injuries. The funny thing is that I should mention before this is that I am probably the most careful person in the world. I don’t take risks, and I stick to what I know best. But nevertheless, I have had 6 bee stings and 1 wasp - yet I still am scared of bees. Wasp stings let me tell you are horrible and very sore. Bees are okay just a bit sore but it isn’t very good when you’re at the beach. Because...
