Hello,
Hello again, I should say, as it's been quite a long time! I could say it was because of exams, or I was too busy but in actuality it was me. My own fault for putting other things ahead of my blog posts. I know it isn't very good! I'm sorry! So, in this blog, I am basically going to give you everything my blogs offer so it's going to be long and a bit rushed (Sorry!!).
In my life in the many weeks I have not posted, life has been good! Summer is beginning to roll in and that excites me... Walks on the beach and swimming, blue skies and laughing. Ice blocks, soda cans opening and of course Christmas. But first of all, in the past couple of weeks all I have heard is Christmas music, Christmas trees in shops, Christmas ads and shopping bags with little trees on them. I don't want to be a bore and a little bit of a negative nelly, but Christmas for me starts in December. It's when we put the tree up, schools wrapping up and it just doesn't feel like quite so much of a long haul.
For my book recommendations, one has very VERY much stood out to me, but since everyone has basically heard of it this is only going to be short. Better than the Movies by Lynn Painter. Yes, it's that book. it is just so good I read it in a day, and I didn't put it down. I have brought the second book which got released a little while ago called 'Nothing like the Movies', I am very anxious to read it. But the book I am reading currently is very full on. It's the third book in a Good Girls Guide to Murder series, As Good as Dead. Let me just say that book is SO dark! It shocked me but it is so good and there have been a few times I've wanted to chuck the book across the room. One more little series, Once Upon a Broken Heart series by Stephanie Garber. That was very good. That's all I have to say about that.
Series recommendations, as a family currently we have been watching the new OBX season that's being released. No spoilers! It's like one of the few series' we all enjoy with no complaints from anyone. As for series' I have watched on my own, Anne with an E. I couldn't believe I had waited so long to watch such a good series especially since it's based on my favorite book. I got invested in that series, on the last few episodes, I kid you not, there were a few moments where I stood up and PACED around the garden in annoyance. But it ended perfectly. But the series shouldn't have been canceled. 😡
Movies! Gosh I'm rushing through this, okay. I have watched many good movies with my good friend okay I'm going to call her 2pac. I know she isn't him, but she is like his No. 1 fan so... Okay we like to watch movies together with a little block of choc that we share. It's like our little tradition, anyways. She showed me Jojo Rabbit the other day and it is so good let me just say. So good I even added a quote into my social studies essay which I'll mention in a second because I'll have a little talk about that. As a family we watched 'Where the Crawdad's Sing' and it is really good but um, it's like rated R13 (I think) for a few little scenes so just bear in mind the rating and the warnings if you want to watch it.
Okay, that's a lot, I'll do a part two right now.
I'll do more in a minute,
Byyyeee
So, because I'm sick i am going to have a rest and do part 2 tmrw, sorry
