Hellooo,
Last night we got the TV working in boarding. It was super fun as we all huddled around the TV laughing and etc. In one of my classes, we learned about Bill Gates and his toilet project in Africa a few years ago. His goal: To make sure that they could have a way to go toilet without going in the stream where the children play, and they get drinking water. It was actually really inspiring, despite how odd it was.
Anyways, today's topic is popular apps or items about phones and stuff, and who invented them and why?
First of all, phones. Mobile phones specifically. (by the way if you find this boring tomorrows will be good π) So who invented them? The first handheld mobile phone was made by Martin Cooper from Motorola, New York in the 1970's. The first model wasn't the latest phone's quality, it was rather boxy and didn't have a touch screen. His motivation: He thought that the phone should be 'part of a person and with them at all times.' That was the phone...
Next one is YouTube. It was invented by Jawed Karim, Steve Chen and Chad Hurley. I don't know if you have noticed but if you search up YouTube, it comes up with '11 Aug 2010 - Share your videos with friends, family, and the world.' So that shows when it came out and its purpose in the beginning. Now, it is very popular.
Anyways, this was a semi boring blog but it's a Monday π€· and Mondays are tiring. Sorry about this.
Byyyeee ππ
